Hi, my name is Jay and this is my digital bricolage. For anyone paying attention, the world presents a staggering amount of beauty, knowledge, weirdness, goodness, nonsense and just generally delicious brain food on a daily basis. But what to do with it all? Who’s memory has a firm enough latch to keep it all in the mind, present and ready at a moments notice? I don’t, that’s for sure, but I do have this blog. It’s a place for me to store shiny bits, odd shaped rocks, and tree branches that look like oxes from certain angles. These are things that matter, or don’t, but of course everything does. I’m pretty sure I’m making something here, or somethings, but I don’t know what. It’s going to take a while before any forms emerge. I also have friends who write online, and I will rob their content frequently. At its best this site will be part of an asynchronous salon, exchanging and mutating images and ideas. At its worst, I’ll be spewing glossolalia devoid of spirituality. So it goes.
